Q&A

Beers are great, but can ya slide me a Slippery Nipple? Nope, beer and wine only.
Should I bring the kids? Yep, Kid friendly.
I’d rather spend $80/mo on beer,  can I get my basic cable on? For sure! Pull up a stool and gaze at any one of the three screens.
Got any tips? 22-oz bottles to go! Pick one up while you’re here. On Mondays, discounted refills on growlers of any signature beer.
Walk, bike, or drive? It’s downtown, parking can be sketchy, but there is a parking lot right next door. Win!
Last one – Is there like a locals night or something? Yep – $2.75 Pints 4-6 on Tuesdays!

Est. 1993 – Have a pint in a brewery, down by the river.

There are many great reasons to swing by the “BBC,” as Bend locals know it. The crowded and intimate space, sandwiched between historic stone walls, has a patio facing upon the Deschutes River. Longtime brewmaster Tonya Cornett is more attuned to the flavor of hops than most brewers, and she has made such beers as HopHead Imperial IPA gold-medal winners at the Great American Beer Festival. Brewed upstairs in tanks visible from the bar, beer is piped directly to the taps, which means it cannot possibly be any fresher. The kitchen, meanwhile, turns out solid comfort food, and the appetizers, especially the calamari, are among the best in Central Oregon. Cheers!
