GoodLife Brewing Company

Founders Curt Plants, Ty Barnett and Pratt Rather had a Noble idea to open up a brewery that reflected the Bend lifestyle, so they named it Goodlife Brewing Company. They opened in a massive warehouse with plenty of room for growth which included a canning line. While canning may not seem like a big deal today, the norm in 2011 was bottles. Within 5 years the warehouse was a full-on brewing facility, with a canning line that was originally intended for Boneyard, who at the time was happy to relinquish it to focus on meeting their demand of draft orders. 2017 saw the loss of Curt (you’ll see a Curt memorial just outside the Bierhall), and the departure of Pratt followed. The loss was felt by the whole community. Shortly after, Tyler West stepped in to lead Goodlife to numerous awards and an even broader portfolio of tasty beer.

GoodLife has become a neighborhood favorite, the cornerstone of the Century Center complex on Bend’s west side. Its spacious brewing facility — also home to Back Drop Distillery — adjoins their expansive Bierhall. Taps draw various Oregon brews along with GoodLife’s own beers, and its garage doors open to Century Center’s outdoor music space. While slightly tucked away off Century Drive, Goodlife Brewing is one of Bend’s favorite places to have a pint of craft goodness. In 2023 Goodlife expanded into the state of Nevada with another location in the suburbs of Las Vegas.
